PRIDE 2015

May all my fellow LGBTQ persons and allies enjoy celebrating Pride this year. We have seen a tremendous change over the years with human rights. Let us reflect on how far we have come as people in general. Most of us have wanted nothing more than equality for all and we made one huge step in our mighty country and it is FABULOUS. I will try not to bore you all with too many words. Take a second to go out and take a breath of  air, look around, and know we are making progress. We have all in our little ways contributed to this difference. Celebrate with those close to you and share the love.

CRAP

I can’t help but sit here and think what the f*** did I do? You no longer speak to me it’s as if I never existed. It’s as if my very existence has gone into oblivion in your world. Do you think of me from time to time? I doubt it. I just continue to sit here and sip my tea. I love the taste of honey and tea. The way it flows; warm, hot, and thick, much like your jizz bizz. Haha it’s funny to think about. I wonder if it was all a dream. The first time we met, the first laugh we shared, the secrets we told each other, exploring our little world together on a steady path to nowhere. I miss you. I really do and even though you can’t see me I still see you.

The Big WAI?

So I don’t have the drop dead looks…
So I’m not all that rich…
So I’m not your typical guy…
I am smart…
I am funny…
I bend gender roles at times…
I know how to listen to others…
I am loving…
Guess what, I have a many internal qualities that can not be taken away without my permission…

I am reflecting on a lot of things right now. The last thing I stated was “I am loving”. So powerful in many ways, I am…I love my family, my friends, my lovers, myself. These people all have an impact in my well being today. Sure lovers have come and gone, my real friends remain by my side, my family will always be my family. Each have their lessons and I am blessed to have there input to make me a stronger me. Over the years all of these people have helped me gain insight to who I really am. It’s not until recently I myself have tapped into discovering who I am.

I have gone through many good and bad times…
I will continue to experience these ups and downs…
& I am perfectly fine with that…
It all brings me closer to who I am…
With that I say to this life of mine “bring it” I am ready

RIP Maya Angelou

RIP Maya Angelou

this is my favorite quote by Maya Angelou I learned of her passing a few hours ago and was saddened at the loss of a woman I feel has made an impact on our world she has lived the past, taught us the past, educated us on how to hone in on our skills to become better human beings, and like many teachers she wanted us to have fulfilling lives…she leaves behind her powerful thoughts those lessons will carry on for generations
